To find the permalink for your comment, just click on the date and time link after you submit your comment. It will read something like this: “June 4, 2008 at 5:55pm”. A permalink is the unique URL to blog entry or comment. Feel free to contact me with questions – my contact information is on the wiki. Thanks!

I am just now getting started with these exercises, so my post is behind everyone else’s. I just experimented a bit with Letter Pop but did not create an account yet. I use Publisher so much that I am finding Letter Pop to be frustrating because I cannot “make it do” what I’d like it to do. The template can’t be changed much, and I am more comfortable with having more control over what I am doing. I can see usefulness for this tool, however, for a quick newsletter, holiday communication, or photo page. Teens might also be interested in it. I probably will try it out in more depth to do a personal holiday letter.

SlideShare has potential for use as an educational tool within the library. Developing a PowerPoint presentation then being able to upload it so everyone in your target group has access to it as an informational or educational tool is a lot quicker and easier than gathering everyone in one spot to present it. Since it is always available SlideShare can be looked at by whomever you want at their convenience. If you wanted a group to view it at the same time that can be arranged as well. In many situations people are unable to come to you and this is an easy way to bring the material you want to share to them. It’s a case of that adage, “libraries need to reach out to their internal and external customers where they are”. Rather than thinking in a box, four walls and a building, this concept steps outside of the box. I like it! I looked under the heading Fashion and Beauty and immediately saw an entry that has always intrigued me. The PowerPoint presentation, Fashion Period 1550- 1600 was informative as well as entertaining. I also looked at the Library 2.0 by Kathryn Greenhill. It was a summation of Library 2.0. I uploaded a small PowerPoint from my files to see how it was done and I invited Maurice and a few others to view it.

A recent survey showed that at an average every Facebook user clicks the like button at least 6 times

Multiplayer versions is more exciting as in this, you’ll be able to team up or even contend with other participants to defeat the enemies. If you don’t have much skill in programming, but still think that creating and developing games is the most suitable for you, there are special courses that will give you training in graphic designing, game development, and computer animation. This idea would be perfectly done with camping, it allows a camper to acquire

They have a sign up that they are closed for cleaning from 2PM to 3PM – while at Buttermilk there is only one bathroom for the whole campground and
I can see why they can’t close it. Many of the most pleasant trips we’ve
had were at camp sites that were relatively basic yet
in the midst of beautiful countryside.

For many working to lose weight, one failure is enough to get them off
the path to success. That way, the actual process will end up being much less frustrating and,
for the majority of people, enjoyable.
